Still havin' fun!

We sure love our friends! It is going to be sad to see them leave in a few months. I think we get together with them once a week and have dinner and do something fun. We decided to go laser tagging and play a few nickle games. Have you ever played the deal or no deal game?? Seriously addicting! We played twice! That's a lot of nickles...

As you can see we decided to purchase some mustaches with our big winnings!

Our friend got a special $ necklace since she really was the big winner!

We love you guys!

Halloween 2012

We really are the Addams Family!

I know...Adam just said it, "little late for a Halloween post...?" Well, it's going up! Something we agreed on is to go all out for holidays. So Halloween was no exception! Adam found a suit at D.I. that semi fit him and spray painted lines on it. Very crafty if I say so myself :) We had a little party at our apartment with some pulled pork sandwiches and some creepy treats. We better start planning our costumes for next year!

Love,
The Addams family

Our Christmas tree adventure!

How is it already Christmas!?! Time sure does fly. We decided to start off our first Christmas together with the purchase of a real, yummy smelling Christmas tree! As you can tell from the picture below, we had to get creative with the way we got the tree home :) After some convincing from me and the man at Home Depot, Adam agreed to strapping it to the top of our car.

He was so patient with my poking and tickling as he put up the Christmas tree :)

Here it is in all its glory! Merry Christmas!

Park City get away!

Adam had the day before Thanksgiving off so we decided to escape to Park City with our friends for a snowboarding get-away! I didn't take that many pictures....I need to get better at that. But we did have a blast on the slopes! Adam was such a great teacher. I thought it was going to test our marriage :) I can be pretty stubborn sometimes. But I really just tried to listened to him, and not get frustrated. He had me up in no time! I would totally go again. Just need to give my bum sometime to heal.

We had a great time eating and enjoying good company. We had to make a stop at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to get some of their yummy carmel, chocolate covered apples. It made for a good lunch!

After we left Park City we decided a delicious dinner was in order. We went to a Japanese Grill/Sushi Bar. I had never been to one of those places that grill the food right in front of you. So I squealed every time he threw something or tossed something in the air. It was a great dinner and a show combo.

Our entertainer for the evening was Ding Dong, not sure if he was telling us the truth....but he was great! Was more the silent, stern funny type. Made us laugh none the less!

Here are some fun shots of everyone getting a shrimp thrown in their mouth! I didn't get one of Adam or I...I was busy covering my eyes while he threw it at me. Really I did. That guy had an arm! It went straight to the back of my mouth! I'm not very good at that catching game...

Adam was a champ! He got three in a row! The guy had to stop feeding them to him :)

Our friends in action!

We sure love our friends! I feel so lucky to have such great people in our lives. We have a great time whenever we are with them.

Have a great weekend!

Lets start at the very beginning...

It seemed like a good place to start!

Now that you are all humming that Julie Andrews song in your head I will tell you how Adam and I met.

But first...

Fast forward a few months and I will give you a peak at our wedding :) Now you know the ending!

It all started on a beautiful Spring day. March 27th to be exact.

Adam.

Asked me.

Out.

It did help having a good friend from high school be his sister-in-law ;) She told me about Adam a few years prior to our first date. But it is all in the timing.  We will never be able to thank Sophie enough for being our mutual connection that led us to meet. Without her I would have never met Adam.

Back to the date.

We had a blast with these two at Red Robin and Boondocks! (that's Adam's brother and the sister-in-law that was the match maker!) I enjoyed the messiest burger on the menu the teriyaki burger, and splitting a milk shake with Adam. Romantic right!? As I lick the dripping sauce from my hand...

I liked Adam, thought he was a really nice guy. I didn't think much would come out of the first date. Apparently Adam didn't think so either, it took him a month to call! Needless to say when he did call the timing was right! The days flew by. I couldn't wait to see him and talk to him. I got giddy whenever it was him calling or texting. Nothing had ever felt like this before, and we both knew it. Before both of our parents knew it, literally, we were planning our future together.

Best. Day. Ever.

Until this....

Thank you Sophie and Jarvie for the photos!
